Poetry Celebration Night
Friday December 18, 2026 @ 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm
£6
Celebrating the 10th anniversary of the cornerHOUSE’s popular poetry evenings, there’s a festive gathering tonight. Instead of the usual format of inviting local poets to read verses on particular themes, this evening marks a decade of poetry-and-cheese events with a chance for anyone to read their two favourite poems.
Others are welcome to come along and listen.
Good Life editor Tim Harrison chairs the evening.
As well as the regular cheeseboard and bar, there will be cake and bubbles.
